And if you know anything about myself and the other co-founder, Heath Bassett. We love winning for our clients. This story comes from a young couple that were interstate looking to relocate to Perth and looking to relocate to the coastal suburb of Butler, north of Perth City.

They came to us in December. So it was a long, a long journey, but it just highlights the fact that at You&Me Personalised Property Services, our job is to get the right property at the right price each and every single time, and if it takes a little bit longer than we anticipated, we’re not going to put the pressure on you to buy any old house.

Waiting for the right opportunity in a coastal suburb

We’re going to take the time required to get the right home. Now, this couple, Justin and Julie, were itching to get over to Perth. They loved the fact that they were going to be able to live in a coastal city, something they couldn’t afford in their state of residence prior to moving to Perth. They had a great brief, they had a good price range and at the start of the journey we were unsuccessful with a couple of properties that fitted their price and it was a little bit disappointing.

But Heath and I went back to the chalkboard, got back to basics, kept looking for new properties and after about two months we still hadn’t found the right property. Justin and Julie, at this stage were thinking: “it doesn’t matter”.

Let’s compromise on our brief. We don’t need a four by two. We can get a three by two, or we don’t need 450 square meters of land.

We can do it with 300. But Heath and I were confident that with a little bit of 1% effort, a little bit of extra effort, we were going to still be able to fulfill their brief. We were still going to be able to provide them with a 4 bedroom/ 2 bathroom or at least 450 square meters of land in a really nice, quiet location close to the beach.

Fast forward five months. We were able to deliver on that promise. We handed over the case to Justin and Julie, and they couldn’t be happier. In fact, the most rewarding experience is we get at you and me personally, as property services is exactly that.
