An amazing year for property investors

2022 was an amazing year for property in Western Australia and Perth in particular, and it was an amazing year for You&Me Personalised Property Services.

We had the great privilege of being recognised as the highest rated buyer’s agents, for 2022, but more importantly, every single client that we were able to assist in 2022 showed significant capital growth and the rental yields for the investors (5.8%) strongly outperformed the states average of 4.4%.

So. That’s right. We are geared up for a 2023, a massive 2023, Heath. We couldn’t be more excited. I mean, we couldn’t have even started the year better if we’d hoped to, ve’ve been able to have some phenomenal acquisitions for clients.

Almost at full capacity ourselves.

Yeah, absolutely. What else do we got on the plans? What else is on the books?

2023 is just huge. I mean, the business is growing, but, you know, the ethos is to never change what’s made us so popular. And that is, is, you know, only working with 50 clients a year.

So while we have open our buyer’s agency in Brisbane, you’ll only deal with one or two of the directors. We’ll be doing the same for our buyer’s agent in Brisbane. Exactly. And will be looking at You&Me Personalised Financial Services, which really ties in well with the buying side, given that I’ve been a mortgage broker for so long.

Grow our buyer’s agency nation wide

We are super exciting to be able to start looking at other states as well later on this year.

But never forgetting our main focus here in Perth.

Absolutely. I mean, we know we think we know it’s the best market in Australia. So and for many reasons we’ve spoken about plenty of times before, so we won’t go into it. But you know, our key focus is here. We love Perth, we love the coast, we love WA.

So, our key focus is always going to be here, but we’re not going to drop servicing in anything else.

I guess if you are watching this in your New South Wales and perhaps you’ve already used us last year and you know, one of our clients from New South Wales is saying the same thing, only a couple of weeks ago.

He’s like: “you know, we’ve got a problem, Simon and Heath. I love the properties you bought us in Perth. But you know, when we diversify, you know, in a couple of years time we’re looking at Melbourne.”

So like when are you going to have an office open in Melbourne? Well, it’s funny that clients are saying that and we’ve been thinking it and planning it for 2023.

So I think, you know, for 2023 the most important thing for us is to maintain that 50 clients a year, maintain that five star rating for 2023 here in Perth, get Brisbane up and running and really obviously maintain that five star level service in Brisbane.
